ALTEYKA - expectorant vegetable direct effect drug containing althaea root dry extract. It can be used in complex and chronic inflammatory diseases of respiratory organs: laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, bronhyalnaya asthma, whooping cough.

It is used for treatment of acute and chronic diseases of respiratory organs accompanied by difficulty of expectoration evacuation caused by formation of viscous and hard released secretion: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis in the exacerbation phase, inflammation of the trachea, laryngitis, pharyngitis, bronchial asthma, bronchial pneumonia, cystic fibrosis of pancreas, multiple bronchiectasis.

This medicinal product is recommended for use in complex therapy as antitussive, anti-inflammatory and expectorant drug for disease treatment of respiratory passages. Before use dilute dry mixture in boiled and cooled water to the mark of the bottle according to the instruction for use. It is prescribed for internal use after the meal for children under 6 years of age – 1 teaspoon (5 mL) 4-5 times per day, children after 6 years of age – 1 dessertspoon (10 mL) 3-4 times per day. Shake the mixture carefully before use.

Tickseed plant has sudatory, cholagogue and diuretic effects; it improves digestion and has a favourable effect on metabolism. Oils included in the plant remove inflammation and inhibit putrefactive bacterial activity.

The medicinal product has an antiseptic effect. It coagulates microbial cell proteins (including enzymes), increases cell membrane permeability ensuring the rejection of bacteria growth and development. It is recommended for treatment of dermatitis, pyodermia, moist eczema, intertrigos, acute and chronic otitis.
